Been looking at getting a grassland subsoiler in and wanted to get folks thoughts.
From what I've seen the Erth looks to give the best results but God the price, the browns unit looks pretty much the same at a vastly better price.
We're on really heavy clay and hp is limited and I've noticed widely varying claims from manufacturers about what hp needed to pull their machines.

Beware of the Browns, they take some grunt to pull!! I bought one on the back of the brochure saying you needed 70 - 90hp (I had 112). It was a 3 leg machine and I could barely move with it, no matter what adjustments the dealer and I made. Eventually rang the contractors and they came down with a 200 hp John Deere......wouldn't touch it. They eventually came down with a 939!!!

 Our 4 leg erth is pulled very easily by a 150 four cylinder Deere through some pretty heavy clay.

I had a demo of the Erth 4 legger and I pulled it through the same ground with my 112 hp lightweight Fendt that had the wheels spinning on the 939. In anything but sand, I would have doubts about the Browns which is a shame as it is very competitive and probably with a few design tweaks would do a decent job.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
