Hey up folks.
I normally graze stubble regen off with stores for a couple of arable men over the winter before it dies back in frost. I find it does blackie lambs a world of good.
This time I've loads of good dairy grass to go at until Feb then turnips through to spring and stores have gone too dear for me to get properly stocked up.
So my question is; Will it do in lamb ewes any harm to graze off barley and oat regrowth from Christmas to the end of Jan? I've 50 acre stood about 5 inches high next too a bunch of shearlings and can't think of a reason why they can't have it. But interested if anyone has done it before or has any pointers?
