Grease gun

Afternoon all.. on the hunt for a new grease gun today and stumbled upon this thread.

There is a 'Special Offer' on at the moment for the speedy gun it seems >> https://www.speedygrease.com/collections/speedy-grease/products/special-offer

I'm wondering if the Speedy is still the gun to buy? There now appears to be a lighter version without the magnet on the side, I'm wondering if this is the better option? Some sellers also include the Quick lock/release end which apparently retails for £20..

Is it worth ordering some end cap/sleeves for the cartridges too? I'm considering cutting the old used grease tube open and removing the cap for re-use!
I'd still go 'Lube Shuttle' at fraction of the price, and the caps are already in the grease tubes.

I found it was like loading a shotgun, whereas the so called Speedy grease, was like loading a musket !!

I have a speedy and a Fuchs . The speedy will probably never be used again as the Fuchs is much much better
If you prefer the Fuchs screw on cartridges you can always use the Fuchs adapter with the Speedy Grease Gun and still have a grease gun with 800 Bar pressure and 2.5cc
