Greenstar calibration

A customer has a new tractor with full autosteer fitted and when mowing on banks he can't get it to match up, perfect on the flat though. He thought it was because of the signal but I said it will be down to the set up an calibration.

I know on my trimble it's important to do the roll cal, but is there a similar thing to do on the Jd? Can he do it or is it a dealer job? I've got no experience with Greenstar so said I would ask on here for him.

It's an operator job no need for dealers just calibrate the TCM on the flat somewhere

Also check the correct receiver height is entered

Mowings about the only thing I've not used the NH GPS for, works well with everything else though.

What's the mowing setup?

I think the problem is all to do with the offset as the mower is not directly behind the tractor

Drive down the field mowing and then stop and measure from the centre of your wheel tracks to centre of the swath and that's your offset.

Also make sure it's set square on the linkage

What’s the best way to measure a front and rear setup?

When we went to the front and back setup I mowed a pass and Im sure it was something like 580cm, half of that was 290 so just halved that to 145 and used that as the offset, seemed to work ok.
