Had my Ground Source system in now twelve years, absolutely perfect, but just feeling now that the ground loops are not working 100% any one on here had the flow checked on the ground loops?

Yes there is a manifold all connections in view, l know the layout two trenches one metre deep coiled pipe in both, most things appear normal apart from electric use l feel we are running 90 % on electric, my only other observation has been the grass over one pipe is always paler green, asked number of firms to check flow and check for airlocks but find like many more things today, every one keen to fit new but very few interested in repairs.

Are the pressures ok?, our pump shows the inside and outside loop pressures, outside pressure needs to be around 2bar for ours I think, had to top it up a few times at the beginning as it settled in (7ish yes ago), rarely touch it now, drops to maybe 1.8sh when the temps in the system drop.... infact just checked it cos haven't looked at it in ages...

Installer was back 2 years or so ago to check brine levels etc and it didn't need much tinkering I don't think.

I had our Brine glycol levels topped up last week. First time in 11 years. Deffo getting a bit weak as we have had to top the pressure up a bit every now and then, hence % glycol dropped.

Main man mentioned loop pressure was good last year, but it is not something I have ever checked or worried about.

Thanks for all the replies, l can answer some of the questions but l will try another installer l have just had heard good views on if he is any use l need him to answer some of your questions and the ones l am not clear on, just feel the system not 100% as my electric use is now £100. weekly, a lot for an over the top insulated 2 bed bungalow, thanks again for your help and info.
