Hi,

I'm looking to swap over aerator to a Honda engine GX160. However, the one I'm looking at says it has an oil alert, and I am looking for one without. Is it easy to disconnect the oil alert on these machine?

I was under the impression that one that was coming off it didnt have oil alert. I think someone told me that the machine would constantly set off the oil alert with vibration or the movement ect. Maybe I was mistaken tho.

This is the one I was looking at https://www.esfproducts.co.uk/product-page/honda-gx160-qx-3-4-inch-shaft-petrol-engine It has oil alert but is a good price..... I think
Highly unlikely vibration would set off the oil alert, certainly doesn't bother hondas on compactor plates which will be the worst application for vibration.
