GX160 without oil alert

Hi,

I'm looking to swap over aerator to a Honda engine GX160. However, the one I'm looking at says it has an oil alert, and I am looking for one without. Is it easy to disconnect the oil alert on these machine?

I have a variety of augers with motors on. Done Honda and wouldn’t disable that safety feature.
It’s a bit like wearing a condom with the end cut off. It works but sooner or later you wish you hadn’t.

Pull one wire off, but as above its foolish to do so.

I was under the impression that one that was coming off it didnt have oil alert. I think someone told me that the machine would constantly set off the oil alert with vibration or the movement ect. Maybe I was mistaken tho.

Highly unlikely vibration would set off the oil alert, certainly doesn't bother hondas on compactor plates which will be the worst application for vibration.
