Quad bike sprayer is not much more but to much better and safer
What if they dont have a quad bike
In answer to the OP we have a Berthoud knapsack sprayer. Its comfy and well made so I would recommend.
Ride on lawnmower. Wheel Barrow with a battery .
Those knapsack sprayer is shite in comparison, you have to have a 12 volt one to realise how good they are , and they are not expensive

OP might not have a ride on but likely will have a wheelbarrow, That said i would rather a knapsack on my back with good shoulder and waist straps then pushing a sodding wheelbarrow about with a battery in and stopping to spray stuff. Nothing to difficult about a few pumps a minute with your arm to keep the pressure up.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
