Just tipped the first load of wheat at 15%. Drying quite fast, started at 17.5% at 1.30pm

Finally got the old 1055 out again starting 20ac of Bennington with the best moisture sample by us this year considering the rain yesterday. Hopefully we can have a break in the weather so can get a crack on

Started wheat yesterday (Grafton) @ 18%. Today it was 17% and falling until the 1st of the heavy showers at 3pm, bugger.

Lots of tales of standing wheat barely fit, but starting to grow in the ear, flat crops are fully worse. Looks like the seed trade ate going to potentially have issues with supply.

Was 18% when first started at lunch, down to 16% now

It did here for a short period but tested the wheat 1 hour ago
and was under 16.
Ithink the grain being properly ripe must help.

Just spoke to a friend 4 miles away he's cutting headlands ,wheat, @15% but he missed the rain yesterday.
