Has anyone ever had a Parmiter Denver?

I've been offered one...

Hydraulically mounted, a row of disks, three Parmiter spike harrow sections, followed by a crumbler roller.

Looks a well built piece of kit, this one is in particularly good order, everything works, kept indoors etc etc...

Has anyone used one, I was thinking would it do me for breaking up stubble? Would it do to create a tilth in sprayed off (and well died) grassland to establish a bit of feeding rape and the like?

Looks a chunky thing, biggest tractor here is a DB1690, would that manage to handle it?

Opinions anyone?

Yes I had one, pulled it with a db 1494 in ploughed ground, it would do a great job if you could get up enough speed, your 1690 would be fine, not the best in grass but did use it a couple of times to establish turnips

Great tool in their day, we used to have spring tine ones, never saw a disc one but knew they existed
Would've thought the harrows would block in any sort of trash
Your HP should be fine, 4m on a JD 3140 back in the day ?
*edit*
Just realised there's a Denver disc multi harrow and the Denver cultivator I was thinking of are quite different things...

Mine came home today! Carried it home on the 1690, seemed to handle it ok.

Can I pick your brain...? The two top links, one on each side, i cant just get my head around what they do...

Do they get used to pull the front row of harrows up, presumably to shallow the machine?
