Hi,

has anyone heard or had any dealings with a company called E-Farm? I’m looking at purchasing a tractor through them but I can’t find much information on them to find out if they are a genuine outfit.

Bit more info needed where are they?

They are based in Germany as I’m looking at importing a tractor.
The email they sent me indicated they act as an agent and source a machine for you. I can’t find anyone who has dealt with them though.

they Seem to be a big company online but actually trying to find anyone who has imported or exported to them is pretty much impossible.
They offer an inspection of the tractor through a company called Dekra at a small cost and then it states that you pay 2% of the tractor value before shipping then once it has arrived at my premises I would pay the full amount. It seems a bit too good to be true as if I’m selling something I want the full amount first

Make an online payment.. and I'm shure the said tractor will turn up next day in your yard in prestine condition, and you'll probably have saved yourself at least a third of the normal selling price.

Dekra was the cap sponsor for Michael Schumacher throughout his career and is a big outfit, so no worries there. E-Farm seem to have a decent enough Facebook page - around 180k followers/ likes is not the work of a scam artist, I'd say.

Yes they're just commission people, advertising dealers machines for a fee
Never had any issue with them buying or selling
If buying I'd recommend paying to get a full inspection beforehand just to be sure what you're buying

thanks, I’m going to get the full inspection done before buying but with the lengths scammers go to now adays to post fake machines I’m just wanting to make sure this is genuine enough

That’s some imagination, I’m asking a genuine question and came across this forum. After all no one likes to hear of people being scammed so I’m just trying to do as much back ground research.

Sadly, I t’s far more common than you think - I report plenty similar every week on here, admin do their job and most end up deleted.

Best way to sort out scammers is to say you want to view the machine before payment and say your going to fly out tomorrow. It's amazing how many are suddenly away on holiday for a month and can't arrange viewing, but if you pay now somehow the machine can still be shipped immediately. Which always amuses me!
