Well we have had some rain now!
Just recorded 1.4mm not sure it will make much difference as I fear that is the only rain for us in August and it is already 23'C so will soon steam off.

Had a little overnight must have just been a shower as the farm track was dusty at 8 this morning, had a shower this afternoon again which didn't dampen the dust either. Fields that cows came off in May have no regrowth and are desperate for water, even the clover is dying off.
