This time of year I always seem to suffer with headaches I think it's the air conditioning in the tractors and sprayers most modern tractors don't have side windows to open . Drinking water like a fish , thought about having a wet towel in cab to have some moisture in the air. Any ideas?

Is it all tractors? i.e. not just one. The a/c shouldn't dehydrate you that much. Try turning the temperature up to say 22/24o and the fan down. Don't direct the air onto your face. Make sure system and filters are clean. Try drinking a rehydration or 'sports' drink or add dioralyte as an alternative to plain water. Wear sunglasses with decent lenses. Wear a lightweight beanie if your head's getting cold

Do you drive more in the summer than winter? Could be eye strain causing the headaches, have you had an eye test recently. Do you wear sunglasses?

I get this too, found it was my sinuses causing issues with the aircon and giving me a headache. I don't use the aircon now unless I have absolutely have to

Often high pressure can contribute. I mean the weather.
Couple this with modern pressurised cabs
I only have the aircon just on enough to create a pleasant temperature. Majority of time vents not aiming at my head either.

Years ago the manual of the combine we had said don’t have the cab cooler than 10 degrees below outside temp. Which is a fair difference but often I get in one of our tractors and the previous driver has just set it as low as it will go. Lots of good advice above but I would emphasise the wear sunglasses and get an eye test if you haven’t in the last year or so.

have an open bottle of water in the cab
You will be amazed how much disappears out of the bottle just to keep the air moist

My first tractor with a/c was a Zetor with a superb aftermarket unit fitted. I did used to suffer with dry throat etc and used to have a small bowl of water on the floor with a saturated sponge in the bottom. This improved the air quality dramatically!! The sponge would dry out remakably quickly, as you say with your bottle trick...

hydration, drink lots of water
make sure the cab filters & recirculation filters are clean so you are getting fresh outside air
wear UV rated sunglasses to minimise glare from the glass etc

Just took delivery of a 500hr Kubota, I dont think the air filter had ever been cleaned in it's life... :(

I like to clean/change my cab filters regularly, after all, it's my health!
