Heads up in Shropshire badger cull zones, saboteurs are prowling today

Which area in particular?
They where snooping around a couple of locations near Cressage but are believed to be staying at the "holistic" caravan site on the A49 near Leebotwood.

Too early, but more than likely wandering the countryside, identifying setts. Had an issue last year here, which was a bit pointless, sadly, as we out of the cull zone :(
It may be the same people, they are known to have been similarly wandering last year.

Found a nest of five young hedgehogs in straw stack last week when loading a lorry out , lad has seen hedgehogs in garden since, but on a sadder note 2 curlew carcases in a field of barley stubble which I presume had been hatched and fledged but unable to fly

Hedgehogs struggling to find water atm and the grounds to hard for rooting worms. Dog/meat and some pots of water will help them out in this weather

If sabs are giving grief send out a decoy couple with a lamp so they concentrate on them while you are sat up doing your bit quietly a few miles away . They aint the brightest of folks easy to fool .
