Headstock strength

Is a Matbro pin and cone headstock any stronger than a JCB Qfit headstock? We are looking to buy a Tm320s but unsure whether to change the headstock for the Qfit as we have a range of Qfit attachments or to keep it as pin and cone and buy a dedicated bucket and muck fork for it. Then possibly an adapter plate for using our other attachments. Any thoughts?

Can’t see why it would be. Never seen any brackets fail at that load level. Keep all the same type of bracket to avoid ball ache. @Bald Rick has a 420 with Qfit.

I have a dairy farmer friend who runs a couple of 320’s on pin and cone and they can often be welding the headstock up. Not sure if it’s operator error or the headstock not up to the job

WE are just waiting for our new TM320S and went through the same thing and were advised to stick with the Q fit and not go to pin and cone as Q fit was stronger.

I have had 5 or 6 pin and cone headstocks.

The only bother that I have had is with operator error and one pin being disconnected by the driver not putting the frame down before tilting it when un-coupling.

A newr headstock has a wedge taken off the front corner of each pin to make this impossible to do.

I run a Spreadabale and use it a lot.

What size handler?
Jcb 320 will lift 4 ton. Pun and cone isnt suited to that weight
