Hi I am struggling to get my head around the headland management system on my puma
Is there a simple auto pto setup where you set the high as you lift the link arms to engage/disengage the pto rather than setting them with time or distance

Yes you can set the pto to stop and start at a predetermined hieght, just don`t ask me how.
Tells all in the manual, just need someone with quantum physics degree to decipher it, :D (y)

Auto pto is not too bad to setup, there used to be all the how to guides on YouTube but I can't find them on my phone, here's one in German it gives you a rough idea

what age is it? you can just push the auto pto button on the keypad once your moving and light will show up on dash, but stop too long at the ends and you'll need to reset it again, the HMS is a pain in the ar5e to setup on the older models, the newer ones you can just type into screen what you want the older ones you have to record a sequence as your moving

You can set it up on height limits and engage it with button on armrest when engaged orange light is displayed on A pillar beside pto engaged light. Get out of seat or lift up for too long it will disengage which is a good feature
Can’t remember of the top of my head how it’s done but it is dead easy once you find the page in ops manual
