Help! Lamb squatting multiple times.

Hi,
My lamb is now 2 weeks old and has been very healthy. I had to take care of her as her mother rejected her after birth. She and her brother have been fine however noticed she has been squatting multiple times and attempting to wee. Small amounts come out but not a proper wee then she tries again after a couple of minutes. She has done this for about 5-10 minutes. I am not to sure what this means or how to help her. She has also been off her milk for about 48hours we need to put the bottle in her mouth and really hold her to feed her. Not sure if it is something serious but need some help please. Thanks

1 ml long-acting Penicillin. Solves a whole load of problems. Sounds like an infection. You can get your vet to sell you a filled syringe, you don't have to buy a whole bottle.
No point testing, vet, etc. Just treat it, be dead by the time you would get the lab results back and have a big vet bill to pay.

Check if it’s got balls? Not in a sack but more internal….. could be a haemaphrodite 🤷🏻‍♂️ Found one today in the ewe lambs, no penis, fanny looked fine albeit slightly swollen but a pair of balls were underneath - not in a normal sack so wouldn’t have been spotted when young.

I have just given her the morning bottle and shortly after she did a proper wee. Do you suggest I still get the penicillin for her?

2 weeks old ? … off it’s milk and not doing much out the rear end? Not gonna lie…. By now it’s chances are probably slim…

stop the milk… electrolytes in water 50ml every hour…

pen strep 1ml down the throat and 1ml in leg…

fill a syringe with soapy water and squirt it up its arse, every hour hour…

sounds too me like youv got yourself a lamb with watery mouth/ Ecoli….

She drank her bottle well this morning I only gave her about 200mls just because I was unsure. Then done a wee and poo well after her bottle and is interested in playing this morning. Does this change anything?

Sounds like progress 😊I would still jag her ro get rid of whatever it was. Mc115reed mentioned some down the throat also, good advice, treats it in the gut. Good luck with her. You can never go wrong giving antibiotics right away to a poorly lamb, they can go down so fast.
