I apologise for asking on the forum but due to a very recent change of cropping plans with a seed grower we have 13 Tonnes of C1 Merlin Spring Oat left to place on seed multiplication. Merlin is in final year of AHDB Recommended List Trials and too date has performed outstandingly well. You will see it has produced the highest yields treated and untreated, excellent grain quality, with no disease issues, superb straw strength and early to mature.
We are offering a Fixed Premium of £30 per tonne over Feed Wheat and a firm contract. I do appreciate the lateness of the request but this issue only came to light over the weekend and as it represents nearly 25% of the total stock seed available, it is very important to us to try and get this seed in the ground.
