So if you set up say a Turkish barber shop or nail bar for money laundering purposes, do you only take cash ?

More so my wife doesn't know where I've been than government.
Our local Turkish only takes cash! In fact a mate was at Lanark market one day and someone told him the local Turkish barber had 2 shops in the town and drove between them in his Range Rover but make sure and take cash if going for a trim!So if you set up say a Turkish barber shop or nail bar for money laundering purposes, do you only take cash ?

Were you riding shotgun?I had a girlfriend that managed an outdoor pursuits shop in the early nineties. At close of play on a Saturday she might have several thousand quid in cash she had to take to a nightsafe at the bank. It wasn't a nice thing to have to do.
Occasionally. Cambridge wasn't too much of a worry. Reading however was a bit different. I asked why the company ( YHA shops ) didn't get it picked up. The answer was apparently that made you more of a target. Were you riding shotgun?
I used to sell Christmas trees to some questionable characters from Tyneside, they’d run up on a Friday night, we’d spend Saturday and Sunday cutting and dragging. My job was to count them into the wagon to make sure they weren’t nicking them. They’d always pay cash to often 5 figures which I’d get from them and sit on till Monday morning when I dropped a big brown envelope on to the boss’s desk. No question about it it was open to abuse if I wasn’t honest about it, saying nothing of the safety aspect. In practice though, it was a good deal which worked well for both parties.I had a girlfriend that managed an outdoor pursuits shop in the early nineties. We used to pay our wages in cash. Quite a lot of money five figures and times a few. We used to go in two or three cars to the bank in order to confuse would be robbers. We never paid on the same day and things like that however around the first week of the months lots of farms were doing the same. One month we arrived were waiting in the queue to get our wages sorted and a Dutch farmer pushed passed me. I was a bit angry but I waited my turn got my cash and went back to the farm and paid my wages. Next day I found out the Dutchman had been followed from the bank accosted at his gate and shot dead. I often wonder if it would have been me. Cash you can keep it.I used to sell Christmas trees to some questionable characters from Tyneside, they’d run up on a Friday night, we’d spend Saturday and Sunday cutting and dragging. I never broached the subject of tax.
That's the plan , no bank no choiceHow do small businesses still use cash when the nearest bank is 20+ miles away and probably runs restricted opening hours which coincide with when the businesses should be trading?
I know a man that got done by the taxman by his club card points earning hadn’t declared enough earnings for the points accumulatedExactly so if it's all some big plan and they aren't going to let you use cash, what's the point using it now when other methods are easier
Love the way people think they are invisible because they use cash
Or the Ukrainians more likely with tech stuffI'd put money it is the Russian's behind a lot of the high profile cyber attacks.
Do you really believe she doesn’t know …….I try and take cash on a night out instead of using card.
