Evening all anybody got a hikvision cctv setup? Are they any good?
I have one hard wire out to shed camera to router cheap and cheerful but 3 years on works really well one camera covers my shed as lambing/calving aid.Really pleased with ours, got a PTZ in the lambing shed
Depends on the quality of the camera, I’m only using standard definition cameras at the moment and they have some age about them now as they where part of our previous system. As they fail they will be getting replaced with HD cameras which are far superior in picture quality. Is the picture quality good when it detects someone?

As an example this was a detection on one of the cameras yesterday

We have one camera set up low down so it will pick up number plates.
Best paying product on the farm , but still we only have 4 and that’s more than enoughGood job it spotted those horse thieves!
Don’t want them bringing costly animals like that on the place…!

If they don’t behave they could end up on the menu , the horse do pay more though than the caravans though (not in total). Once these go there won’t be any more though.Best paying product? Are you on a contract with Tesco or something…?!
I’d choose the caravans any day!! They can’t escape by themselves….nor do they bite or kick! Not all of the caravan owners smell either.
Can’t think why anyone should choose the horse…
