Hiring a tractor to a customer

Been asked if I could hire my small 115hp tractor to go on a twin rotor rake for a week.
I'll probably hire it by the clock hour, what should I be charging. Never hire stuff out usually but wife cant do job with kids off and hes got a very sensible driver I wont mind using it.
Just want to be fair but not free....

The comment re clarifying the insurance situation is important. Normal tractor insurance will cover you for use in connection with your business as farmer/agric. contractor. If tractor being hired out and used in connection with someone elses business then they will need to insure just the same as if hiring from a dealer.

Why does the title refer to "a customer"

World of difference between helping a neighbour and a transaction as part of your business.

You also need to clarify the insurance situation.
Used to be our neighbour before our farm got sold. Now do a lot for them and want to be helpful. I'm on my other tractor on the same job so I'm keeping an eye on it.
Re insurance would get them to insure it. Doing minimal roadworks but always some iddiot about.

But that only just covers depreciation these days? In reality a farmer cant hire out as cheap as a big fleet cos they get massive discounts on the purchase price.Tyre wear and servicing surely adds £2/hr to that, let alone any repairs or even a tiny profit.
But your case dealer hires 200 hp full spec New pumas for £12 per clock hour
