Looking for a towable one to be honest... thats carries 2.5 tons...nows the time to look and buy not next jan/feb...just looking at ideas...Oats just seeing what folk think

I would worry about some one towing it away tbh

Had a creep taken once hide them now if possible

To save my back filling small feeders up..can pull in at the bin fill up and return to field...2 miles away

I just put it in the loader or loadall bucket

Yes tie the tops too don’t want anything blowing out

Yep tote bags are an idea...one of grain 2 of pellets...mix them up...or possible premix before filling

I fed oats early this year and end of last year I didn’t reckon much to them but probably the type of oats I had

Just an idea i had as i know where their is going to be a supply

Whichever you buy, make sure it is wide enough for your loader bucket, the Portequip one isn’t.
And the top isn't strong enough to stop it sagging and water sitting on the top.
And the baffles adjust crudely on little chains, meaning you have to climb in to adjust them. Then climb out again to fetch a hammer to move the baffle, because it is too flexible and allows feed to jam behind it.
But the red paint is pretty.

My experience of mixing pellets and oats is that the beggars will pick out the pellets and spit the oats on the floor.

That’s exactly right what happens here they are lying on oats after a few days

What sort of money are them? I normaly find out the price and then make one when it’s dark on a night

£1000 on ebay, just search “hogg feeder” and its the first one that comes up
