Looks to me like a Smyth of Peasenhall drill. Suffolk made, they had a very good reputation in the day.

I did think about using it to boost our drilling capacity this spring but the kids and my wife were not keen on pulling it .
The drill has now been claimed by a TFF member so keep you eyes out for a new “ pimp my drill “ thread . Dutch openers and liquid fert tank fitted next wk .

We pulled this out of the shed today where I know it’s been for 30 years , the wheels turned , all the mechanical stuff worked and I started to wonder why with all the new kit and tech we have nowadays why we always seem to have and problem with glitches and gremlins . Funny you should say that. Went down to our shed of old horse drawn implements after seeing your posts to look at the small seed drill we have down there. When I touched it the wheels still turned just as you said. I think I’d need more fields with soil like @slim shiny ’s photos to run it successfully though.
