The idea of tapping into the heat in a large pile of compost to heat the house has crossed my mind just needs a bit of looking into.farmer up here heats his house through pipe in cattle court.

That's actually a very good idea bit o alkathene will not cost a lotfarmer up here heats his house through pipe in cattle court.
but how do you get the dung out without wrecking pipe or a heap of messing aboutThat's actually a very good idea bit o alkathene will not cost a lot
That's what I meant about the alkathene not costing a lot just rip it out should be easy enough to separate it from dung once it's ripped out and there must be a lot of heat generated to make it a cost effective idea extra heat for winterbut how do you get the dung out without wrecking pipe or a heap of messing about
I'm not going to put one in. Not worth it. Haven't got the time for cleaning out too often.
May build a traditional play area for toddlers instead. I think my out of season market is going to be granny and grandpa with parents with not yet school age kids. Holiday times already get booked easy.
Total waste of time and money. We had a hot tub on the estate which we have in fact just got rid of. As we have three cottages there had to be a booking system, then there was maintenance on top of that. It's not fun having to empty and clean the thing out when some genius has decided to drunkenly tip half a bottle of Shiraz in to the water. Nor is it fun when you have to clean it out after half a dozen people all wearing hired Victorian costumes they got for a corporate fancy dress do had decided to jump in wearing all the garb. That's another thing, it's those people who use it at their own risk. Drink and hot tubs don't mix at all. (Yes that did actually happen at ours.)
Then you get the parents who think slinging the kids in the hot tub equates to the evening bath. Get in one of those things without having a shower beforehand and it messes up the ph.

i was at school with barry and the lass was the local barmaid a lovely girl,Does anyone ever have a shower before using one? Ever since reading about a Fife couple who were murdered in one I have not been that keen.
