How can they get it so wrong 😔 😫

Got to rant somewhere so it might as well be here ....
How can the weather forecasters get it so wrong so often and nothing is done about it ?
Surely in the modern era of technology it must be possible to get it somewhere near right and reliable
Forecast , by many channels, was wet Sun over to Mon afternoon and then dry till Fri at earliest.

It’s even more frustrating when they roll out Jim Dale to spend 15secs discussing the current weather and the remainder of the bulletin lecturing on climate change from his second home in Portugal or wherever it is.

Trouble is now i might venture into market and buy something I don't need or want . ... if the forecast had been right I wouldn't have had time!

And the news bulletin is telling us what’s going to happen..

Should be the news reporting facts of what HAS occurred and weather predicting what is GOING TO occur.

Weather forecast is just a science fiction programme!

There used to be an old bloke who did forecasts on the local telly (Foggitt?? Frogitt?? or some such).

All he had was a fir cone, a bit of seaweed and a bit of nous.

He was a damn site more accurate than all the modern lot with their satellites and computer models.

Surely all these satellites can see it coming???
It just needs them to tell us it's there and the direction it's going

Last year we got it in in nice conditions, it was the 6” of rain in the last two weeks of Oct that fecked us.
