How long in a trailer?

Excuse the ignorant arable farmer question, but there are some ''stunt" livestock here for a film set.

There are 3 goats and 2 ewes in one closed stock box trailer, and a sow and a litter in another, plus 3 heifers in a small pen.

The owners of the stock are not here currently, but are there any guidelines on how long they can be shut up, or how regularly they should be checked, fed and watered?

Many thanks.

Technically yes thats the rules if it’s in transpor, but there are also rules on access to food and space. So would also depend on the size of the trailers and what food and water is available

Stationary with food, water and bedding and a rep from the animals in film accreditation board (Humane Society or its British equivalent) and they are probably happier than when at home. I wouldn't be concerned in the least.
It wouldn't be the first time I've slept in a horse box or stock float and it was better than under a table in a beer tent.

Yep but there’s no rules for your bedding area and accommodation

I'm not sure the rules of transport are made with them being temporary accommodation in mind. The pens at the mart for 5 Beltex tups for 4 days at Carlisle are smaller than an Ifor trailer. Aged tups are given a 4x6 pen each which is why I won't put an aged tup to the Premier Beltex sale. No-one else complains, certainly not the animal health folk.

Must be different rules for marts to us farmers then 🤔
legal requirement is min of 1.5m squared per ram

A 4’x6’ pen is bigger than that, without allowing for the diminutive nature of Beltexes.
Not ideal for any sheep that may require exercise though, particularly if it’s for 4 days.
