Finished today as well!
It's a big place the states is that in one area or over the whole country? On Holiday in the States at the moment and there harvest and planting is a long way behind for the time of year with some parts only 30% complete for the time of year were the 5 year average would 85% +, looks like the price of grain may end up going up this year,
Over the whole country , you get a report every morning on the farming tv channel and from what we have seen driving around I would say it is about right , some places in the mid west to get 2 to 6" of rain at the weekendIt's a big place the states is that in one area or over the whole country?
Me too, but Spring beans this year have been surprisingly better than expected. My problem is I have 10 ha of overwintered stubble for some reason, It's ok if there is any land available or spuds at the same time as someone wants some. Have done some damage growing them in the past though.cant get away with spring sown cereals here in terms of profitability although have sown ww in feb and done ok just, not something we would try to repeat hence the long hours now between soakings
