How to set drill markers?!

Slightly off from the original post but my drill has two sets of holes in the marker arms (centre marking) set the marker on one to put the outside drill rows together ie no misses but a lot of overlapping or set it on the other hole and drill works to full width no overlap but occasional missed bits I’ve not explained this very well but it is a simply idea from a manufacturer that makes things nice and simple

If you have an occasional miss, could it be that the drill is not centered on the tractor correctly. If neither hole appears to give a perfect match up of bouts, is one or both arms slightly bent backwards?

It's the way you sit to the left of the tractor making it parallax error. If you sit straight it doesn't occur.
