Can you try explaining again what you want to achieve.
That is exactly what I am trying to achieve. It is a relief valve which altered noting when adjusting, so I dismantled it and put it back together and now it works! You should be able to adjust the speed of the motor on that valve, if you want to reduce the flow going to the motor but keep the motor speed you can do this by adjusting that valve.
I did it on a horch drill fan motor once that had miles too much back pressure on the return line despite me upgrading the size of the return pipes and all the fittings the return pressure was still too high, adjusting the relief valve on the motor increase the motor speed while allowing customer to reduce the oil flow on the tractor spool, the result less oil going down the return so no back pressure.

Many Thanks to you all
