It's worse when you buy new [irresistible bargain] kit and never actually use it. E.g. Have a Makita 9" grinder and some DeWalt cordless tools that have yet to see action, because the old stuff just keeps going.

Was lusting after a couple of 5amp batts for my ryobi, then the youngest pointed out
that most times the gear is only used for short time, a couple of small batts will be
handier and cheaper

Fantastic.
One of those tools that has many more used than you ever thought.
So far I've not found anything that 25t won't shift or straighten.
Think I'll sh1t myself if it ever gets to 50t
Have you got a link to them on eBay I can't find it now I know you put one on here when you got it.

I came to the same conclusion. Proper industrial spec ones are £1k+ and wouldn't work any better for me.

You will now find yourself keeping all the old bearing races and anything chunky with a hole in it "that'll be handy for the press"

Also don't forget you've got it. I had 10 mins thrashing a bearing just as is always done. Then the penny dropped about the new big red shiny thing in the corner that did it in 20 seconds. Doh!!:banghead:

Got a birthday coming up and was asked if I wanted anything for the workshop !
Right ! A bigger pillar drill would be nice only the one I've got was bought as a present so would cause friction if I asked for another one.
A welder would be really useful to repair the things I break which fall apart, but I can't weld.
A press is often needed but with no room to put it I can't justify it, similarly radius saw.
A bigger capacity cordless drill and grinder would save time but I'd need a whole new set of batteries and chargers.

So it looks like socks.

If you can't weld you must not break much
