its funny how things can turn out times @holwellcourtfarm .
id go to, and use quite a few on line auction houses to buy tools and such with the greatest intention of selling them on but most of the time once something makes it this far it ends up a prisoner...

anyways, i never heard of Eddisons before so i had a bit of a gander through that asset sale which happened to have a particular lathe that i have been after for the last 3 years.
so i registered with them and signed up for the auction and as it turns out i bought myself a lathe this morning., along with a few other smaller things.
so i take this opportunity to say thanks for the inadvertent link sir, much obliged.

Nice to think this thread has it's uses (apart from being a self-help group ).
