Nope but some with Torque Amplifier would cruise along at a respectable 22mph which with only 2 wheel braking is plenty fast enough really.

Unlikely to get rocked to sleep in blissful comfort however.

I think these tractors had 2 different speeds something to do with the gearing inside. 1 would do about 17/18 mph and the other did about 23mph. I had 1 of the faster models.

We had a 685 with an 8 /8 shuttle for a few months. When stopping we moved the shuttle from one position to the other thinking we had put it into neutral. Then it lurched forward as we let out the clutch. We thought it would cause an accident so it had to go.

How?

It's a modified TA (splitter), works well but no neutral position as said.

My mate has one in dairy farmer spec - none of your fancy windows or doors. I borrowed it last year and I was surprised how fast it was on the road. I would say it was 40k. Certainly faster than our 885 which ambles along at about 16 mph.

No reverse on the gearstick. The TA lever is now the shuttle lever.

Me too, faster change, once you got the feeling for it 1st to 4th was one movement.
