Does anyone know how well the IH B414 can handle a tipping trailer?
The current antique but still handy tipping trailer we have has a 3 stage ram which im not sure the B414 could handle.
The tractor also has the loader so I assume this would need to be down before tipping the trailer.
According to Google the mechanic the capacity is 3 Gallons, its not a lot to play with.

They will tip a two stage ram no bother, not tried a 3 stage but as you say with loader right down and arms down it will increase the capacity. They will not tip twin ram trailers though without an extra oil tank!!

The four ton Weeks trailers that went with the 414’s had two stage rams. I’d imagine if the trailer is no bigger than four ton capacity then the 414 should tip it.
None of the 414’s had loaders so you’re into unknown territory.

I have a five ton trailer and even though the ram is only a two stage unit I’d imagine the IH oil capacity could max out possibly before the bigger trailer was fully up.
My Deutz has a loader and an extra external oil tank. Both loader & trailer are ok but the external tank is drained when both are fully up.

Ours will tip a Salop 5ton with a two stage ram easily.

Im not sure you are right the B414 didnt come with a loader.
It is an IH part and the brackets are all in the right place for the loader
