Excellent app, saving me a lot of hours have used it all through lambing for birth recording with no issues (No issues with the app, the sheep are a different question!). Looking forward to using it at 8 week weighing

Hi. Does it simply use Bluetooth to connect to the scales and eid reader?

Any limitations on the scales and readers it links to?

Does it calculate DLWG?

Apple compatible?

I have it set up on iPhone but can also use iPad. It bluetooths to my awr300 stick reader and tru test eziweigh 7 simultaneously for eid and weights. What eid reader/weigh head would you be using with it?

I’m pretty sure it will calculate dlwg although yet to try it as I only started using it December last year so not really had much to monitor. I can say though that any features you feel it misses or needs then the team are great at listening and working out how to add it on for you

Yeah on the IOS application it works with the below via Bluetooth, we have created our own "Weigh Head" called eWeigh which is more cost effective way to digital weigh.

It does indeed calculate DLWG for each record, you can see this infomation on the record with a graph\figures and you can see on the weigh screen.

What iLivestock ( IOS) works with:

EID Readers -

  • Agrident AWL200,AWR250,AWR300
  • Allflex - RS420 & LPR
  • Tru Test- SRS2 & XRS2

Weigh Heads
  • eWeigh
  • Tru-Test Easyway 7i
Hope that helps.

My stick reader tru test xrs will link to my weigh head eziweigh 7i with the animal id so could all that info be pulled off the weighhead onto the app? Or will it just take the weight and not the id?

Hi,

Not currently as we currently connect the EID reader to the phone and then establish second connection to the EasyWay7 to the phone.

I’ll check with the team as I don’t see why we couldn’t pull the EID number off.

back in touch soon.

thanks
