Unbelievable. 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, more??

Never seen this number before & totally helpless. Running bird scare alarm, laser and bangers but they don't care anymore and frankly I have run out of ideas other than to feed towards dusk but I am doubting this will have any effect either other than to upset the cows' routine further (cf blood testing etc)

Any ideas (very carefully received)?
Thought this was the idea of Defra encouraging the planting of all this bird seed to increase bird numbers, just the wrong type of birds in the wrong place, story of our life now isn't it. Plenty of badgers, Red kites, foxes now birds you've got to love UK governments.

got my spellling wrong which wasn’t helpful.

£360 ish I think. Sounds like a cannon going off. Any birds that come back between bangs are much less and extremely skittish.
I have the agri-linc poverty version. 1 bang manual on off. £204. Worked out cheaper than repairing my Portek version and seems a louder bang. The starlings used to line up on the power cables before dropping in for a feed so I have the banger pointing at the cables and so far no starlings in the sheds.

We’ve got a Portek set on random timings and bangs. Usually goes off as I’m passing but like all deterrents, within 10-14 days they are inured to the bang as it is a different sound to a shotgun.

We’re moving ours every other day and have a much smaller site to yours. I’d buy a couple more
Just a word of caution. Had a banger here going on random 3 years ago. Then the Genus rep called and said they had known of s few abortions in cattle due to the bangs. The cattle are not scared at all, but it can affect the unborn calf. So I got scared and stopped. Then I had 2 abortions in the following week. About 6/7 months in calf. Could possibly be just a coincidence and totally unrelated. But I stopped. And as @Bald Rick said they get used to the noise. Now I have a lazer pen in my pocket and just move them on when around the yard. To be fair our starling numbers were very small due to only feeding silage. But they were in with the calves and their cake and straw.

Think a static laser and a disco ball will be the next step
