Investigation into hacked "map" of UK gun owners

What about a register of people with chainsaw training? (who probably have very lethal tools at their disposal)

Or a register of people who are/have been in the armed forces? (many of whom have been trained to kill people)

In most cases the postcode/area where the guns are kept is different from where they are used?

You maybe surprised at the correlation between number of SGC/FAC certificates and gun crime for various UK postcodes.

For example, 30% of all gun crime happens in London.

Interesting but not surprising that the 3 areas with by far the highest recorded gun crime are also those with the lowest registered firearm owners..

It's rarely the previously law-abiding folk who commit these offences (and those rare occasions are VERY hard to avoid).

I do wonder how Derek Bird managed to get a firearm licence in 2007 given how he behaved in 2010. It would suggest the background checks failed.

We will never know how badly the police cocked it up with Derek Bird, the Plymouth shooter or at Dunblane. The details will all be sealed for 100 years under the guise of protecting the victims and with the rather fortunate side effect of meaning the actions of those responsible for our safety cannot be scrutinised during the lifetime of anyone who will remember it.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
