Is Dynamic Command/Active 8 worth the extra money

Oh god yes! So smooth and pulls like you wouldn't believe. Same T6 same engine EC & DCT, the DCT will get up a hill far easier and faster. It's very efficient with lots of gear overlap. I can only assume A8 is similar for MF

Yes. Though ours was same price as the electro command in 2018 so it was a no brainer. Must have been the introductory offer. How much less than an auto command is the current DCT?

Trouble is in a tractor at the smaller end, you'll loose too much power via the CVT vs a DCT will be more productive (unless you have a specific use for the CVT)
