hope you fudgers are happy now, fudgeing soaked today
No rain here in the Brecks
Barley still up thankfully, despite three quarters of an inch over night. We've had a very unsettled fortnight.
Chucked it down all day, 50mm in 24 hours!
Same here but the ground is still hard.
Well you know hard ground and heavy rain - it just runs away. You need steady drizzly rain, the type that creeps up on you and you end up soaked without realising!
13mm from 7.30 am Ashbourne Derbyshire
We've had plenty of that over the past couple of weeks. I'm amazed the ground is still so dry.
Fair enough but we've had a long dry Winter and Spring
Only just started here, least it'll wash the fert in for second cut!
30mm today, so far, rain forecast every day until Friday with another 29mm expected in that time.
Pathetic quantity versus forecast - welcome to East Anglia
Need a good soaking....seriously.
Haven't you had enough yet? It's been peeing down here since last night and still going for it.
Had a good shower here tonight ,,stopped now but think its back for tomorrow
May have had an inch, could do with a couple more to actually soak the ground.
Went to have a look at the swedes two days ago and even though we have had bits of rain I could pick up a clod of soil and crumble it to dust in my hand.
have some of mine, getting bleak up here, fields are really starting to soften up not much growth going on
Less please. Wet February and march here, average April and a good may, but now it needs to calm down and give us some dry days too! I'll be looking next week dry for second cut.
