You can't cut them off as they are threaded into the plate so would be left with the threaded section to somehow remove.

They've even put marks on the socket where it needs cut.

Replace with cap head allen/torx bolts, looks like you would get a standard air ratchet to the centre with a long bit

The type of spanner in the links I put up should easily fit in that space I would think....

how about the new bolts being allen key head, and using a allen key on the impact driver with a ball end? Won't help with getting the old ones out, but may make reassembly quicker.

Personally I'd just stick with the ratchet spanner........ looks like you'll get 3/4 of a turn with each stroke.

Sometimes you just can't get away with shortcuts using all the new gadgets.
