JCB 527-58 AGRI plus. Error code P0641-00

Can anyone help with this error code P0641-00 on a jcb 527/58 AGRI plus.. can’t get it to clear on the diagnostic.. it’s sensor output voltage related and checked all connections etc..

That is a 5v internal supply fault.

Disconnect ( or temporarily cut ) 5v ref 1 at the ecu plug and see if the fault will clear. If yes, find and repair the short to ground on 5v ref 1 either in the wiring, or a shorted sensor.

If it wont clear , you have a faulty ecu and youll need a new one ( plus programming )

Hi thanks for your reply.. I’ve got a eclipse diagnostic and on the sensor test the file pressure sensor comes up as an alarm so could be that.. will have to get a work g diagram off of it to find the line.!!

Disconnect the rail pressure sensor and see if the 5v ref re-appears

You've got a shorted 5v reference. Favourites are the throttle pedal, air temp sensor or coolant temp sensor. Start unplugging one at a time and see if the code clears and the engine starts.

Hi ok we had many codes but check the engine loom it’s mounted vertically down on the right hand side of the engine. Remove the belly plate underneath and you can see the plug it’s tight to get to but remover the two bolts from the brackets and check that plug. Put a small cot I the loom cover and see if any water comes out
