Jcb 536 07 hour counter

Got an 07 jcb 536 with the digital hour that doesn’t work. Is their any way of telling what hours it’s done? Do they have such a thing as a computer in them that will store such info?

The man in Ireland who used to repair clocks for me could tell me how many hours it has done because the clock has not failed, it is just the Read Out you can not see!, so bound to be someone who repairs car clocks etc in the UK who can sort it out for you . That clock failed all the time in warranty and the replacements also failed - were about £300 a time 10 years ago but not bought any for a long time.

It's sometimes best you don't know how many hours a machine has done! especially a FS - it is a salesman's dream when that type of clock doe's not work - you can not tell any lies - replace the clock with new and a high houred machine becomes a low houred machine in a few years!! Had a part ex JCB TH a few months ago from a regular customer who when asked how many hours roughly (same clock as yours) said it does flash up occasionally and last time it had some 3,000 hrs on it (actually 23,000 hrs on 3 rd time round) (06) - went to the Auction and luckily when it was being photographed for on-line the clock did not put on a guest appearance - machine sold at crazy price like most things at the moment!

mones similar on a 56 526, comes on every so often to reveal the hours usually when a very hot day, was sold as it aprox so many hours and it was almost spot on!

as above it still counting just wont show hours all the time

I never trust any of those Jcb clocks.
Does anyone know of anyone who can sort the display?

If you guys about small round clock with speed on the needle and hours on small lcd. Than i can put new LCD on it. I have them currently in stock.

Same issue on mine.it occasionally bursts into life for a few minutes so I allways write down hours and date.
