We have a 535-140 and a 535-125 on hire
Anyone know why the legs on the 14m one will not work if boom is higher than 20 degrees whilst the 12.5m ones will still work at 45 - 50 degrees.
Not lifting heavy weight but the legs do come in handy for levelling and giving a small amount of side shift

14metre one cuts out early due to higher lift height = heavier boom its so you don't lift the legs with boom in the air.

they just cheap bog standard hire spec with no chassis leveling then I guess. boom height sensor can be by passed by taping a coin to it but I'll let you figure out were it is! they don't half rock if you let a leg down with boom in the air!

Problem arose today when picking a stanchion up with shackle to top.
Had to boom out to pick up out of pack as top was away from machine and legs had to be down to lift weight.
When up vertical and boom back in couldn't then move as couldn't lift legs up.
Usually work with feet about 6'' off ground but can usually move them up or down to help lining up rafters or concrete panels etc. Moving steering slightly has same effect but not if feet are down
Is sensor at back of boom or would you rather not say !!!
