Jd 2850 electrical issues

I have recently got myself a jd 2850, while it's in very decent condition for its age it has a couple of jobs needing to be done.
Last night the dipped/main beam lights stopped working even though sidelights/tail lights still worked. Checked fuses this morning and all are OK. Any ideas please where I should be looking please?
Also have a tail lamp 3 bulbs works individually but if have tail light on and indicate for example then get some red flashes instead of orange, this is most likely a bad earth isn't it?
Thanks

Is the cybernet board ( or whatever it's called) pushed in correctly into dash board , or the terminals cracked 🤷

Your tail light issue sounds like a poor earth for definite, if your headlights failed together I'd start looking around the dip/Main switch (and relay if it has one). Is it an sg2 cab?

Thank you thought it would be 👍
Yes it's the sg2 cab.
Not seen any relays in the operators manual or on the tractor. They were working fine but last night decided not to.

Not quite sure what the board is, is this what the fuses attach to?

Suspect yes a pull out board under the left hand dash panel. The main plug into the cab was where most of my electric problems stemmed from though not sure whether the lights were on that plug. RHS up under the bonnet there's a wiring loom with a plug into the cab. Always worth checking.

Thank you will have a look and check 👍

My 3350 would only start if you gave the console a firm slap while holding the start switch, was like that for years despite several efforts to clean connections change fuse board etc etc

I had 2 3350's and swapping parts across tractors didn't swap or cure the problem.

Anti theft device I suppose

Yes, had the same thing on 2850, a firm push then turn the key.
That board was a poor design

I must admit, that I was under the impression that the older generation of tractors that didn't show error codes never had electrical issues.....
