So far a cvx but still looking for something else.

We’d really like a 6190M Deere with front end loader but with air brakes which you can’t get, so that’s not an option either unless we add them as an after thought via a 3rd party.
dealer taking you for a ride, probably expecting his commision from up selling to you will give himself and girlfriend a week sking in the winter.

just bought a 6630 with new engine and turbo, £20000, bet for another £10000 he would throw in 3 years warrenty and serviceing, and tractor still be worth £20000
old chap few years back traded in his crystal because it had a few issues, 10 years later he bought a cheap crystal at a farm sale and drove it home, on the way back he found it had the same little problems as his old one had. when he got home and cleaned off the number plate , found twas his old one

Trading back a 6115m with a loader. Will be about 3 and a half years old and done 3500 hours by the time the new one comes. Quote was only last week.

ha, i seen a 2140 at oke show, couldent believe how small it was compared to how i remerber when driving one.
we need reliable front line tractors capable of doing a hard days work when the pressure is on, not a toy to take on a tractor run
and able to handle a 5 furrow plough, 6m power harrow, bunnings 105's and be comfortable with a 45 ft trailer loaded to the max on devon hills,
aircon and air brakes and power steering for the wimps that pretend to be tractor drivers now oh and power brakes if you ever.
When i started drivingwe had a handle to turn to start it, not a little key, probably a good idea, at least you wouldent lose it, or cost hundreds to replace.
had to learn the thumbs out lesson quick too less the wheel broke your arm. would get hell if you stalled the engine and had to fetch dad to start it again.
cold spring drilling would put some hay in a sack and stand in it to keep warm.
unless u have walked beside a carthorse for a few days avoiding getting stepped on, u will never full aprecieate a modern tractor

If you referring to me I fancy something a bit/lot newer and may sell one but the other will stay even if it does nothing.according to local dealer it’s worth nearly twice what I paid for it 4years ago
Nick...
Yes as you started the thread but I should of tagged you!

Your decision but I'd defo chop both in for a vario, auto steered modern tractor with toys.

Next door neighbour had the demo 6155r after me and has just had the quote emailed through and he sent me a screen shot, I’m a bit shocked to be honest, few bits on it like gps and the power guard service thing but no LEDs and only 40k, it’s got the command arm with direct drive transmission, bargain price of £114k +vat!

Price of Deere went up 2.5% 1st August I'm told
Apparently the pound has reached the depths of what it was last year roughly so it can't be currency driving these prices up can it ?

No but value of the pound is as good an excuse as any. Also the 1st was a Wednesday and it was sunny.
