JD 6520SE Hydraulic Problem

Hi Have a John Deere 6520SE which suddenly lost all hydraulics whilst power harrowing. PTO stopped ,no lift on back arms ,no spool valves and no steering
Engine running sweet but can hear vibration in back end like a coupler trying to engage. Have been hearing a bit of hissing from the hydraulics this last few weeks but was still working fine also crossshaft is very worn but would not imagine that has anything to do with it. Will this be a cab up job or plate below seat to access the pump on a SE model
any solutions much appreciated

Now Then..
Does it still drive, as in backwards/forwards??
There's a good chance you've sheared the driveshaft to the rear of the tractor.
There's a plastic plug you can take out just above the PTO shaft. See if the end is still spinning..

Then the engine to transmission shaft is ok. Take the plug out of the back for a look. Power harrows are notorious for snapping shafts. How is your ground for stones?? Did it stopped suddenly??

Yes stopped suddenly.
Have stones but all our cultivators are on slipping clutches which are slackened off at start off season and adjusted to spec so should not have been stressed really bad

It's threaded M10. Pull that one out, then about 1000mm (36") in there's another shaft similar..
Unfortunately, you'll not get it all out without a degree of skill, cunning and luck. You'll need more luck than anything else..

If it drives OK but the hydraulics have stopped, item No 4 could be broken. Or, it may have stripped the splines off where it fits inside the transmission oil pump.
You could hold it in the tractor with a bit of wood to be sure it isn't turning..
