The lift on my tractor over winter been lifting 1 arm before the other even with all greased and oiled as it should. Been re seeding last few days and left now will only lift to about half way on the slider in the cab but when press buttons on outside it lifts full. Any ideas of what could be at issue ?
Thanks

Sounds like your cross shaft splines are gone if it’s lifting one before the other. It’s an issue on JDs when they get to some big hours apparently

My father did say come to think of it when he was watching me hook power Harrow on that the arm was turning on the shaft before it griped to lift if that makes sense

I would guess it’s part of your issue at least. No idea where position sensor is on them but if it thinks it’s at the top then slider won’t lift any more, if things are jumping or slipping on splines then the position sensor is going to be all over the place.just don’t hook on a mounted mower or hedgecutte!!!
