Jd 7530 mirror swinging backwards and forwards

My external mirror on my John Deere 7530 keeps swinging backwards and forwards doesn’t lock into position any more

Thanks how do I line up mirror to knock the pin out

That pin would wear, and cause the mirror to flap about, on the older 50 series. Never had one break totally, but don’t see why not. I used to take the whole arm off and place it on something like a block of wood, while a helper held it steady to knock out.

Must have broken off completely swings all the way ,will take it off Monday get it on workbench,got plenty of punches to punch it out

I suspect that's corroded to buggery, so liberal applications of WD40 and take patience will be the key

Won’t be easy I know,need it next week for winter barley for backing the trailer in to grain store

On my 6410 the spring loaded shaft had seized and caused the roll pin to shear. Had to get shaft freed off first. Pig of a job lining up broken roll pin. Ended up drilling hole through in new position.
