That pin would wear, and cause the mirror to flap about, on the older 50 series. Never had one break totally, but don’t see why not. I used to take the whole arm off and place it on something like a block of wood, while a helper held it steady to knock out.
On my 6410 the spring loaded shaft had seized and caused the roll pin to shear. Had to get shaft freed off first. Pig of a job lining up broken roll pin. Ended up drilling hole through in new position.
