Hi does anyone have a good source (better than main dealers ridiculous price) for steering ram seals on a JD3200 loadall please?

TIA
H-C

If it's a zd axle I cant help.

If it's a Dana axle they are about £90 plus vat from manitou?

I got a front steer ram on order for a jd3215 at minute. JD have 2 in stock but want £3500!

I'm getting 1 of dana about £750ish but factory have no stock and lead time of 110 days?‍♂️

Now Then..
A JD3200 telehandler will have ZF axles in it. Z63721 seal kit looks to retail at £297.... I would think if you're on good terms with your dealer, you could get it for around £200..

An AZ62495 front steering ram for a ZF axle machine retails at £2462,61 and yes, there's 2 in stock.. I would think if you're on good terms, £1800 would buy it..

Rods fine, theres a deep score in the tube/bore. Its a double ended ram with a flange on the out side to bolt it in. wouldn't be easy to make one.

I have a very good local place for rams, but not practical to make this one. And although a manitou ram is similar the outlets for the pipes are in the wrong places.

Could you not just move the outlets
Dont take this the wrong way but i am amazed at the money people are prepared to pay to keep all these expensive machines going. And to say these poor ag dealers dont make any money
Thinking back my dad happen said the same thing wen i was 20-30 when spending 65+k on a new 320 horse selfpropeld and 30k on a 130 hp tractor lol
I dont think they gave anywhere nr the trouble these new one do tho
Getting older now if you cannot mend it in t workshop dont buy it now policy

Why would i want to move the outlets? the correct ram from dana is cheaper and customer is happy to wait! Agreed if the only option was a JD ram at 3k plus one would be making more of an effort to come up with a alternative.
