John Deere ‘I’ series sprayer compatibility issue with fender section control

Hi we have a old (2008) i series sprayer that has been running through a JD 2630 for years and we’ve recently gone onto a fendt profi plus with section control built in. Long story short it won’t control the sections but can control everything else! We’ve done the most recent update with no joy.
Help required!

Did you check for AEF compatibility? I'm not sure if I picked up the correct sprayer and the correct Fendt but the sprayer appeared to be SC certified while the tractor was not. The tractor SW seemed to be very old on the list I found, wonder why.

Cause it costs money to certify every version so most don’t, the aef database is a good guide but you can still get issues.
