John Deere 4500 teleporter

Just wondering We put in a new forward and reverse shuttle in our John Deere 4500 teleporter Went to drive it out of the shed it reversed out then a low transmission oil light came on Topped it up Light still staying on and no forward or reverse Took off transmission filter and checked No oil flowing. What could the problem be Is there another filter anywhere on the system. It was working fine before we put in the shuttle. There seems to be power coming to the transmission

Possibly causes of no oil at the transmission filter when running. Doesn't matter what electrics are doing you should always have oil at the trany filter while running.

Low oil
Suction filter blocked
Suction pipe knackered
Wrong oil maybe? Needs to be ATF, Utto/ JD back end oil is too thick in cold weather.
Trans pump knackered

If the trans pump was gone would it not be slowing down for a while beforehand

Not if the lugs on the converter sheared off or the pump smashed itself up.
