Hi all. 6155r with john deere front pto factory fitted and fan belt failed due to issue with air compresssor. 2 main questions.
1. Is it possible to remove or fit new fan belt by unbolting the damper from crank pully or will the pto unit need to be moved back.
2. Layout of belt as old belt is completely shredded. Tractor has air brakes so air compressor too.
Thirdly if anyone has any experience or tips please feel free to share

Now Then.
It depends which driveshaft version you have. Belt replacement is usually straightforward enough. I remove the fan from the viscous drive to get the belt over fan.
There's usually a picture of the belt routing in the operators manual.. or, look up JDParts, or, ask yr actual dealer..

Remove coupling from Crank dampener and slide it back, sometimes easier to slide the whole PTO gear box back on the bolts - or replace acouple with all-thread so you can slide it back enough.
